Overview

Addepar is a data and portfolio management platform for wealth advisors, family offices and financial institutions serving high- and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Founded in September 2009 by Joe Lonsdale and Jason Mirra, both previously of Palantir Technologies, the company built its platform to aggregate, reconcile and analyze investment data across custodians, asset classes and geographies, replacing the spreadsheets that wealth managers had traditionally relied on for portfolio reporting.

Under CEO Eric Poirier, who succeeded founder Joe Lonsdale in 2013, Addepar has grown from managing a few hundred billion dollars in assets to more than $9 trillion across over 1,500 client firms in more than 60 countries as of 2026. The company has raised at least $637 million in disclosed venture financing, most recently a $230 million Series G round in May 2025 that valued it at $3.25 billion, and in the same month acquired AI workflow startup Arcus to extend its platform's AI capabilities, backed by more than $100 million in annual R&D investment.
