Overview
Founded in 2007 by serial entrepreneur Doug Dohring (who previously built and sold Neopets), Age of Learning develops digital early-learning curricula and launched its flagship ABCmouse.com Early Learning Academy in November 2010 after three years of development.
The company has grown into a broader early-education portfolio spanning ABCmouse (ages 2-8), Adventure Academy (ages 8-13), My Math Academy, My Reading Academy, ReadingIQ, and free classroom tools under the ABCmouse for Teachers/Schools brand, reaching well over a million paying family subscriptions plus tens of thousands of teachers and public libraries using its content for free.
