Overview
Aviatrix is a cloud network security and multicloud networking company that provides what it calls a 'Cloud Native Security Fabric' — a platform for securing and managing network traffic within and across public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Its products include Zero Trust for Workloads and Zero Trust for Networking, which secure workload-to-workload, workload-to-internet, and cross-cloud traffic without requiring physical appliances or application changes.
The company is headquartered in Santa Clara, California, and operates as a remote-first organization with additional offices in Bengaluru, India; Champaign, Illinois; and Dallas, Texas. Aviatrix serves enterprise customers across regulated industries, citing compliance support for standards including HIPAA and PCI DSS, and has said its customer base includes a meaningful share of the Fortune 500.
Aviatrix reached unicorn status in September 2021 after a $200 million growth funding round led by TCV valued the company at $2 billion. Steve Mullaney served as CEO at the time of that round; Doug Merritt was appointed Chairman, President, and CEO in June 2023. Since then, the company has continued to expand its product line into areas such as distributed cloud firewalls, cloud cost intelligence, and, more recently, security architectures aimed at AI and agentic workloads.
Private securities are speculative, illiquid, and involve risk of complete loss of principal. You should be prepared to hold private securities for an extended period; there is no assurance of a secondary market, an IPO, or other liquidity event. You are fully responsible for conducting your own due diligence. Pricing is indicative — nothing here is an offer of securities.
