Blockdaemon
Overview
Blockdaemon is an institutional blockchain infrastructure company that provides node management, staking, wallet/custody (via multi-party computation), and blockchain data APIs to financial institutions and crypto-native platforms. The company describes itself as building "the institutional operating system for on-chain finance," offering transaction services, data services, infrastructure services, and staking/earn products across a wide range of blockchain protocols.
Founded in October 2017 in San Francisco by Konstantin Richter, who serves as CEO, Blockdaemon grew to become, in its own description, the world's largest blockchain infrastructure company for node management and staking. The company has expanded through a series of acquisitions, including crypto security firm Sepior in 2022, and has built out a global operations footprint.
Blockdaemon's institutional clients and partners span traditional finance and crypto-native firms, and the company has participated in high-profile industry initiatives such as DTCC's tokenization pilot, in which it supplied the wallet infrastructure layer used by major financial institutions to process trades with tokenized assets.
Private securities are speculative, illiquid, and involve risk of complete loss of principal. You should be prepared to hold private securities for an extended period; there is no assurance of a secondary market, an IPO, or other liquidity event. You are fully responsible for conducting your own due diligence. Pricing is indicative — nothing here is an offer of securities.
