Overview

Color Health began in April 2015 as Color Genomics, offering low-cost hereditary cancer genetic testing, and has since evolved twice: into large-scale COVID-19 testing and vaccination infrastructure during 2020-2021, and then, starting in 2023, into a vertically integrated Virtual Cancer Clinic that pairs oncology-trained clinicians, primary care physicians, and genetic counselors licensed across all 50 U.S. states.

The company is led by co-founder and CEO Othman Laraki and is backed by investors including General Catalyst, T. Rowe Price funds, Kindred Ventures, Viking Global Investors, Khosla Ventures, and Emerson Collective. Color's board includes co-founder and chairman Elad Gil, General Catalyst's Hemant Taneja, BlackRock co-founder Susan Wagner, and independent directors Ann Mather and Luis Borgen.
