Overview
Contentsquare is a French-founded digital experience analytics company that helps brands understand how customers behave on their websites and apps and act on those insights. Founded in Paris in 2012 by Jonathan Cherki, the company's platform combines session replay, heatmaps, product analytics, experience monitoring, and voice-of-customer tools into what it calls an experience intelligence platform, used to optimize over 1.3 million websites. Contentsquare has grown substantially through acquisition, including Hotjar (2021), and its largest deal to date, product analytics company Heap, completed in December 2023. The company has raised roughly $1.4 billion across its venture rounds, reaching a $5.6 billion valuation after a $600 million Series F round led by Sixth Street Growth in July 2022, and counts SoftBank Vision Fund 2, KKR, BlackRock, Eurazeo, and Bpifrance among its backers. Contentsquare remains a private company; it has not filed for an IPO and has not been acquired.
Private securities are speculative, illiquid, and involve risk of complete loss of principal. You should be prepared to hold private securities for an extended period; there is no assurance of a secondary market, an IPO, or other liquidity event. You are fully responsible for conducting your own due diligence. Pricing is indicative — nothing here is an offer of securities.
