Overview
DXY (Chinese: 丁香园, Dīngxiāng Yuán, literally "Lilac Garden"), also known as DXY.cn, is an online community for physicians, healthcare professionals, pharmacies and facilities, established on July 23, 2000 by Tiantian Li. It functions as a vertical professional community rather than a general social network, letting physicians exchange clinical insights, discuss new findings, and access continuing-education material.
The company's business spans several divisions, including a clinical and industry news service, professional education content, Biomart (a biomedical e-commerce software utility), JobMD (a healthcare recruitment and job-matching software utility), and DXY survey (market research services). Its affiliated interface DXY.com (丁香医生) is a telemedicine-oriented service aimed at lay users, offering medical news and a database of approved medications.
DXY describes itself on its own site as a biomedical technology platform with more than 9 million registered professional users and over 405,000 verified doctors, and separately reports more than 3.2 million community members, making it one of the largest online physician communities worldwide.
Private securities are speculative, illiquid, and involve risk of complete loss of principal. You should be prepared to hold private securities for an extended period; there is no assurance of a secondary market, an IPO, or other liquidity event. You are fully responsible for conducting your own due diligence. Pricing is indicative — nothing here is an offer of securities.
