Overview
Eon was founded in January 2024 by Ofir Ehrlich, Gonen Stein, and Ron Kimchi, three Amazon Web Services veterans who previously built and sold CloudEndure, a disaster-recovery startup AWS acquired in 2019. Eon applies the same recovery expertise to cloud backup, replacing slow, siloed snapshot systems with a unified, queryable backup data lake.
The company's platform automatically discovers and classifies backup data across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, letting customers restore individual files in seconds rather than waiting days or weeks, while also exposing that backup data for compliance reporting, ransomware recovery, and enterprise AI analytics.
Private securities are speculative, illiquid, and involve risk of complete loss of principal. You should be prepared to hold private securities for an extended period; there is no assurance of a secondary market, an IPO, or other liquidity event. You are fully responsible for conducting your own due diligence. Pricing is indicative — nothing here is an offer of securities.
