Overview
FalconX is a digital assets prime brokerage that provides trading, financing, and custody services to institutional investors such as hedge funds, asset managers, and family offices. Founded in 2018 by Raghu Yarlagadda and Prabhakar Reddy and headquartered in San Mateo, California, the company built proprietary technology to give institutions 24/7 access to liquidity and risk management across major cryptocurrencies. FalconX has grown into one of the largest institutional digital-asset brokerages, reporting more than $2.5 trillion in cumulative trading volume and a presence across the United States, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. In recent years the company has expanded well beyond spot trading, acquiring the derivatives trading firm Arbelos Markets, taking a majority stake in multi-strategy hedge fund manager Monarq Asset Management, closing a Bitcoin-backed credit facility with Cantor Fitzgerald, and completing its acquisition of crypto exchange-traded-product issuer 21Shares to add exposure to listed markets.
Private securities are speculative, illiquid, and involve risk of complete loss of principal. You should be prepared to hold private securities for an extended period; there is no assurance of a secondary market, an IPO, or other liquidity event. You are fully responsible for conducting your own due diligence. Pricing is indicative — nothing here is an offer of securities.
