Overview
Fetch (legally Fetch Rewards, LLC, and commonly known by its earlier name Fetch Rewards) is a Madison, Wisconsin-based consumer app that rewards people with points for scanning grocery and retail receipts, which can then be redeemed for gift cards. Founded by CEO Wes Schroll in 2017, the company has grown into a large-scale loyalty and shopper-data platform used by tens of millions of people across the United States.
Beyond its original receipt-scanning product, Fetch has expanded into Fetch Play (games), Fetch Shop (online shopping rewards), a co-branded Fetch American Express credit card, and FAST by Fetch, an AI-powered insights and activation platform that helps consumer brands reach shoppers through the app. The company also publishes a recurring Fetch Price Index tracking grocery-price and consumer-spending trends drawn from its receipt data.
Fetch has built partnerships with major consumer packaged goods and retail companies — including General Mills, Mars, Kimberly-Clark, Barilla, Sargento, E. & J. Gallo Winery, Albertsons, Burger King, Panera, and Papa John's — that pay to reward shoppers for purchasing their products, which is the core of Fetch's brand-partner revenue model. The company operates offices in Madison, Chicago, Birmingham (Alabama), and Boston in addition to its headquarters.
