Overview
Glean is an enterprise AI company founded in 2019 by Arvind Jain, T.R. Vishwanath, Tony Gentilcore, and Piyush Prahladka, a team of former Google and Facebook engineers who set out to bring Google-quality search and, later, AI assistants and AI agents into the workplace.
The Glean platform indexes and connects a company's internal data across more than 100 SaaS applications, respecting each user's existing permissions, and layers an AI assistant and no-code AI agent builder on top so employees can search, get answers, and automate workflows across all of their connected work tools.
Headquartered in Palo Alto, California, Glean has raised roughly $765 million across six primary funding rounds between 2019 and mid-2025, with its valuation climbing from an undisclosed early-stage figure to $7.2 billion at its June 2025 Series F led by Wellington Management.
By May 2026 the company said its annualized recurring revenue had tripled in fifteen months to surpass $300 million, up from roughly $208 million at the end of 2025, with more than 850 employees and shares of the company also changing hands on private secondary markets such as Forge Global and Hiive, where investors have valued the company in a similar range to its last primary round.
Private securities are speculative, illiquid, and involve risk of complete loss of principal. You should be prepared to hold private securities for an extended period; there is no assurance of a secondary market, an IPO, or other liquidity event. You are fully responsible for conducting your own due diligence. Pricing is indicative — nothing here is an offer of securities.
