GOAT Group is the Culver City, California-based parent of GOAT, Flight Club, alias and Grailed, a family of platforms for buying and selling authenticated sneakers, apparel and accessories.
Co-founders Eddy Lu and Daishin Sugano launched the GOAT mobile app in July 2015 to bring a ship-to-verify authentication model to the secondary sneaker trade, and merged with physical consignment retailer Flight Club in February 2018, adding brick-and-mortar stores in New York, Los Angeles and Miami.
The company reached a reported $3.7 billion valuation in June 2021 after closing a $195 million Series F round, and expanded further in 2022 by acquiring the streetwear resale platform Grailed.
