Overview
Grow Therapy is a New York-based behavioral health technology company founded in October 2020 by Jake Cooper, Manoj Kanagaraj, and Alan Ni to make insurance-covered therapy easier to find and deliver. The company built a technology platform that helps independent, licensed therapists launch and run private practices while Grow Therapy handles credentialing, insurance billing, scheduling, and administrative work behind the scenes, letting clients book covered therapy and medication management sessions with providers in their insurance network.
By March 2026 Grow Therapy said its network had grown to roughly 26,000 mental health providers reachable by more than 220 million Americans through over 125 health insurance partners, with more than 2 million people served and 7 million visits facilitated in 2025 alone. The company has raised a combined $328 million in disclosed venture funding across four rounds, most recently a $150 million Series D in March 2026 that outside reporting pegged the company's valuation at roughly $3 billion.
