HAEGIN

HAEGIN is a South Korean mobile game developer headquartered in Seoul, founded in September 2017 by Lee Young-il, a co-founder of the established gaming company Com2uS. The studio's flagship title is Play Together, a casual social platform game launched in April 2021 that has been described as a Korean answer to Roblox, and which had surpassed 100 million cumulative downloads with daily active users exceeding 4 million as of mid-2022.

Beyond Play Together, HAEGIN has published a range of mobile titles including Homerun Clash, OVERDOX, Extreme Golf, the KBO-licensed baseball game 2026 Professional Baseball GO!, and the post-apocalyptic action title Last Hunter K: Seoul, which launched in 13 countries in April 2026. More than 90% of the company's revenue and user traffic reportedly comes from international markets.

HAEGIN reached unicorn status (a valuation above $1 billion) after closing a roughly KRW100 billion (about $82.4 million) Series B round in March 2022 backed by Kakao Games, NetEase, VNG, Netmarble, KDB Industrial Bank, and other investors, and shortly after that round SK Square and SK Telecom jointly invested a further 50 billion won as strategic investors to integrate HAEGIN's gaming and metaverse technology into SK's AI and Web 3.0 services.
