Overview

Hightouch, legally Carry Technologies, Inc., is a San Francisco-based data infrastructure and marketing-software company that helps businesses activate customer data stored in cloud data warehouses. The company pioneered what it calls the "Composable CDP" approach: rather than forcing companies to copy customer data into a proprietary silo, Hightouch syncs data directly out of a company's own warehouse (such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery) into downstream advertising, sales, and marketing software.

The company was founded in 2019 by Tejas Manohar, Josh Curl, and Kashish Gupta, all of whom went through Y Combinator's Summer 2019 batch. Manohar and Curl previously worked as engineers at Segment, the customer-data platform later acquired by Twilio, where they observed limitations in first-generation CDP software. Gupta had previously worked as an investor at Bessemer Venture Partners.

Hightouch's product line has expanded from its original reverse-ETL data-syncing tool into a broader Composable CDP and, more recently, an Agentic Marketing Platform that layers AI decisioning, ad-creative generation, and lifecycle-marketing tools on top of a company's own warehouse data. The company reported reaching $100 million in annualized recurring revenue in April 2026, crediting much of that growth to AI-powered marketing products launched in late 2024. Customers cited by the company and press coverage include Spotify, DoorDash, PetSmart, Grammarly, Domino's, Chime, Warner Music Group, and the NBA.

In November 2023, Hightouch acquired HeadsUp, a product-led-growth sales-signal startup, in a deal with undisclosed terms; HeadsUp co-founder Earl Lee joined Hightouch following the acquisition.
