Overview
Improbable is a London-based technology company founded in 2012 by Cambridge computer science graduates Herman Narula and Rob Whitehead. It built its reputation on large-scale distributed simulation technology, including the SpatialOS platform, before raising a $502 million Series B led by SoftBank in 2017 that made it one of the UK's best-known technology unicorns.
Since 2022 the company has repositioned around building interconnected virtual-world and Web3 infrastructure, including the M² network, while divesting its unprofitable defence and national-security unit to a group of investors led by NOIA Capital in 2023. In 2024 Improbable reported its first profitable year and formally launched a venture-building model, using its balance sheet and technical teams to incubate and back new companies across AI, Web3 and virtual-world infrastructure.

You should be prepared to hold private securities for an extended period; there is no assurance of a secondary market, an IPO, or other liquidity event. You are fully responsible for conducting your own due diligence. Pricing is indicative — nothing here is an offer of securities.
