Overview
Instinct is an autonomous personal AI assistant, operated by Spear Street Technology, Inc., that connects to a user's apps and devices — including email, messaging, calendar, screen, audio, and location — to complete tasks on their behalf rather than simply answering questions. Instead of giving instructions back to the user, the system actively navigates websites, fills out forms, sends emails, and makes reservations, then reports back via text message or phone call.
The product was founded by Noah Shinn, who was 23 years old and had started the company only a year earlier when it drew wide attention in mid-2026. Early adopters have used Instinct to plan cross-country road trips, order weekly groceries, buy concert tickets, and cancel unwanted subscriptions.
In September 2026, Instinct began giving its AI agent its own email address so it could create accounts, contact businesses, handle support requests, and join group email threads without cluttering a user's personal inbox. The company has also integrated with 1Password for account logins and Stripe for payments and bookings, while facing public scrutiny over the scope of app permissions and terms-of-service language its autonomous agent requires.
Private securities are speculative, illiquid, and involve risk of complete loss of principal. You should be prepared to hold private securities for an extended period; there is no assurance of a secondary market, an IPO, or other liquidity event. You are fully responsible for conducting your own due diligence. Pricing is indicative — nothing here is an offer of securities.
