About

Judi Health, founded in 2017 as Capital Rx by CEO AJ Loiacono and CTO Ryan Kelly, is a New York-based health technology company that began as a transparent, pass-through pharmacy benefit manager and has since expanded into a unified pharmacy-and-medical benefits administration platform. Its proprietary Judi platform uses what the company calls Unified Claims Processing architecture to consolidate pharmacy and medical claims for employers, unions, health plans and government entities on a single system, an approach the company positions against legacy pharmacy benefit managers built on spread pricing and fragmented claims systems.

Overview

The company has raised $607 million in disclosed venture funding, most recently a $252 million Series F round (part of a $400 million total investment) co-led by Wellington Management and General Catalyst in September 2025 that valued the company at $3.25 billion and prompted its rebrand from Capital Rx to Judi Health. Since then, Judi Health acquired care-navigation platform Amino Health, renamed its original PBM business Judi Rx, launched medical benefits arm Judi Care and platform-licensing business Judi Cloud, achieved FedRAMP Ready status for federal healthcare work, and in September 2026 partnered with Employers Health to launch a modular, cost-plus PBM offering called StarkRx.
