Overview
JumpCloud is a Colorado-based enterprise software company that operates a cloud-based directory platform centralizing identity, access, and device management for organizations. The platform provides single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, privileged access management, and cross-platform endpoint management (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android) from a single console.
Founded in 2013 by Rajat Bhargava and Greg Keller, JumpCloud launched publicly at TechCrunch Disrupt and has since raised over $400 million in venture capital across multiple rounds, most recently a Series F that closed at $225 million in October 2021 (after an initial $159 million tranche announced that September) at a $2.625 billion valuation. The company has expanded its platform through a series of acquisitions covering password management, endpoint security monitoring, SaaS/cloud asset management, and privileged access management.
JumpCloud remains privately held, with no public stock listing identified in this research.
Private securities are speculative, illiquid, and involve risk of complete loss of principal. You should be prepared to hold private securities for an extended period; there is no assurance of a secondary market, an IPO, or other liquidity event. You are fully responsible for conducting your own due diligence. Pricing is indicative — nothing here is an offer of securities.
