Overview
Lattice is a people management platform founded in 2015 by Jack Altman and Eric Koslow in San Francisco, combining performance reviews, goal-setting (OKRs), employee engagement surveys and, since 2023, a full human resources information system (HRIS) to help HR teams and managers build high-performing organizations. The company has grown from an early performance-review product into an AI-native platform serving more than 5,000 businesses worldwide, including Brilliant Earth, Figma, Intercom, Calm and NPR.
Lattice raised at least $320 million in disclosed venture capital across five rounds from 2019 to January 2022, when a $175 million Series F co-led by Thrive Capital, Tiger Global, Dragoneer and Elad Gil tripled its valuation to $3 billion. Co-founder Jack Altman stepped back from the CEO role in December 2023 to become Executive Chairman, and longtime Salesforce executive Sarah Franklin joined as CEO in January 2024. Under her leadership, Lattice has pushed further into AI-native HR tools and acquired Mandala Technology (March 2026) and Pando (August 2026).
Private securities are speculative, illiquid, and involve risk of complete loss of principal. You should be prepared to hold private securities for an extended period; there is no assurance of a secondary market, an IPO, or other liquidity event. You are fully responsible for conducting your own due diligence. Pricing is indicative — nothing here is an offer of securities.
