Linear is a San Francisco-based software company that builds project and issue-tracking tools used by product and engineering teams. Founded in 2019 by Karri Saarinen, Jori Lallo, and Tuomas Artman, the company set out to build an alternative to incumbent project-management tools that its founders found slow and poorly designed, with a strong emphasis on speed, keyboard-driven workflows, and interface craftsmanship.
