Overview
Mavenir is a telecommunications software company that builds cloud-native network infrastructure for mobile operators, spanning core and IMS networks, virtualized RAN and small-cell access, edge computing, business support systems, and AI-driven network automation and analytics.
The current company was formed in 2017 through the merger of Xura, Mitel Mobility (formerly Mitel Mobile), and Ranzure Networks, which then took on the Mavenir name and brand of the original Mavenir Systems (an earlier company Mitel had acquired in 2015). Mavenir is headquartered in Richardson, Texas, with additional offices and engineering centers internationally.
Mavenir describes its business as working with 300+ mobile network operators across 120+ countries, with its software present in networks that cover roughly half of the world's mobile subscribers. The company is majority owned by private equity firm Siris Capital, with Koch Strategic Platforms holding a minority stake since a 2021 strategic investment; Pardeep Kohli serves as President and CEO.
Private securities are speculative, illiquid, and involve risk of complete loss of principal. You should be prepared to hold private securities for an extended period; there is no assurance of a secondary market, an IPO, or other liquidity event. You are fully responsible for conducting your own due diligence. Pricing is indicative — nothing here is an offer of securities.
