Overview
Medlinker (医联), operated by Chengdu Yiyun Technology Co., Ltd., was founded in June 2014 by Wang Shirui as an online community for verified physicians, and later evolved into a licensed internet hospital offering chronic disease management, physician consultations, and AI-assisted diagnostic tools.
The company merged with Tencent-backed Doctorwork in December 2021 to form a combined telehealth group valued at roughly $5 billion, and it has disclosed six funding rounds since 2015 backed by Tencent, Sequoia Capital China, China Investment Corporation, and Sino Biopharmaceutical, among others.
