Overview

MegazoneCloud is a South Korean cloud managed service provider (MSP) and, by its own description, one of Asia's largest cloud MSPs. It was established on July 3, 2018 as an independent entity spun out of its parent company Megazone (founded 1998), and is headquartered in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Lee Joo-wan founded and initially led the company as representative director; current leadership could not be independently confirmed through a reachable English-language source as of this writing, so no present-day CEO claim is made here.

The business operates as a managed and consulting partner across the major public cloud platforms, holding Premier Consulting Partner status with AWS, an MSP designation with Google Cloud, and Gold Partner status with Microsoft Azure. According to its own site, MegazoneCloud has since broadened from pure cloud migration and managed services into AI, cybersecurity, and data services, describing itself as an 'AI-Native Digital Transformation Partner' and 'Enterprise AI Orchestrator' with in-house platforms including the SPACE Series (digital operations), Hyper-Mig (cloud migration), Hyper Billing (cloud cost management), HALO (a security framework), Megazone AIR (an AI implementation platform), and AICC (an AI-powered contact center).

MegazoneCloud reports serving nine industry verticals, including manufacturing, the public sector, software, finance, healthcare, retail, gaming, and telecommunications/media, and lists operations extending into the United States, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, and China alongside its South Korean home base. Its shareholder base, per Korean Wikipedia, includes parent company Megazone (53.16%), private equity firm MBK Partners (10.57%), IMM Private Equity (8.46%), and Korean telecom operator KT (6.66%), though the MBK Partners and IMM Private Equity figures could not be independently confirmed in an English-language source.
