Overview
Beast Industries grew out of Jimmy Donaldson's MrBeast YouTube channel, which he launched on February 19, 2012. As the channel's audience and merchandising and content businesses expanded through the 2010s and early 2020s, Donaldson and his team consolidated the various ventures under the Beast Industries name as a single holding structure.
The company is headquartered in Greenville, North Carolina, where it operates a roughly 132-acre production campus, and maintains additional offices in New York, Chicago, and San Mateo, California. Beast Industries employs several hundred people across content production, consumer products, and corporate functions.
Jeff Housenbold, a former Shutterfly chief executive and SoftBank Vision Fund investor, joined Beast Industries as chief executive officer in September 2024 after being introduced to Donaldson by one of the company's investors; Donaldson remains founder and the company's public face.
Beast Industries' reported revenue rose to roughly $473 million in 2024, driven primarily by the Feastables chocolate and snack brand, which the company and press reporting describe as its most profitable division; the media and content production side of the business has reported net losses in the same period.
