Overview

NinjaOne (formerly NinjaRMM) is an Austin, Texas-headquartered IT operations and endpoint management platform. Founded in 2013 by Sal Sferlazza and Chris Matarese in San Francisco, the company relocated its headquarters to Austin in 2021.

NinjaOne's platform unifies endpoint management, automated patching, remote monitoring, IT service management, and — after its 2025 acquisition of Dropsuite — SaaS and endpoint backup and email archiving, serving IT teams and managed service providers (MSPs).

The company surpassed $500 million in annual recurring revenue in its FY2025 (announced January 2026), reported nearly 70% year-over-year growth, and grew its customer base to roughly 35,000-40,000 customers across 140+ countries.

NinjaOne reached a $12.3 billion valuation in June 2026 following a secondary share sale led by Wellington Management, Sequoia Capital, and ICONIQ, among other crossover and growth investors, up from a $5 billion valuation in February 2025.
