Overview
Nothing designs and sells Android smartphones under its Phone line, true wireless earbuds and headphones under its Ear and Headphone lines, and previously owned a budget-focused sub-brand, CMF by Nothing, that was spun off as a standalone India-based company in September 2025. Its products are built around a distinctive transparent, exposed-hardware design language paired with a custom Nothing OS software layer.
Founder and CEO Carl Pei previously co-founded OnePlus before starting Nothing in October 2020 alongside Akis Evangelidis, David Sanmartin Garcia, Steven Gao and Levi Li. Nothing has said it surpassed $2 billion in lifetime revenue in 2026, and in May 2026 it named the musician Charli XCX, who is also a company shareholder, as its first global brand ambassador.
