Overview
Founded in Tel Aviv in 2016 by Eynat Guez, Ofer Herman, and Ruben Drong, Papaya Global built a unified platform that lets multinational companies run payroll, hire through Employer of Record and contractor arrangements, and manage global payments from a single system, instead of stitching together local vendors country by country.
Papaya reached unicorn status in March 2021 and was last priced at a $3.7 billion valuation following its September 2021 Series D round. As of early 2026 the company was reportedly in advanced talks over a possible sale in the $3.5-4.5 billion range, while continuing to operate independently with more than 1,000 enterprise customers.
Private securities are speculative, illiquid, and involve risk of complete loss of principal. You should be prepared to hold private securities for an extended period; there is no assurance of a secondary market, an IPO, or other liquidity event. You are fully responsible for conducting your own due diligence. Pricing is indicative — nothing here is an offer of securities.
