About

Parloa, with US operations headquartered in New York and founding offices in Berlin and Munich, Germany, sells an agentic AI platform purpose-built for enterprise customer experience: its AI Agent Management Platform (AMP) lets contact-center teams build, deploy and govern AI voice and chat agents that handle live customer interactions, under a company commitment it calls the "Parloa Promise" around agent reliability and responsible AI. It was co-founded by Malte Kosub, who is CEO, and Stefan Ostwald, who serves as Chief AI Officer; the pair had run a conversational-AI agency, Future of Voice, since 2017 before spinning out the Parloa tool as its own company in 2020.

Overview

Parloa builds an AI agent management platform (AMP) that enterprises use to deploy and orchestrate agentic AI voice and chat agents across customer-service contact centers. The company traces to Future of Voice, a conversational AI agency that Malte Kosub co-launched with Stefan Ostwald in 2017; a low-code tool the pair built internally at that agency was code-named Parloa, and in 2020 they sold Future of Voice and recruited the employees who had been building that tool to scale it as an independent company. Parloa now operates from a US headquarters in Manhattan, New York, alongside its original Berlin and Munich offices in Germany.

As of January 2026 Parloa reported about 380 employees and, a month earlier, more than $50 million in annual recurring revenue with 150% net revenue retention — momentum the company credited with earning it recognition as one of Germany's new AI unicorns of 2025. Its enterprise customers include Allianz Partners, Booking.com, IKEA, HealthEquity, Teleperformance (TP) and Berlin Brandenburg Airport, alongside earlier customers such as Decathlon and the German Red Cross.

Parloa's funding has accelerated sharply since its 2023 Series A. A $21 million Series A in March 2023 was followed by a $66 million Series B in April 2024, a $120 million Series C in May 2025 that made Parloa Germany's newest unicorn at a $1 billion valuation, and a $350 million Series D in January 2026 — announced about eight months later — that tripled the company's valuation to $3 billion. Parloa's own materials put total capital raised at more than $560 million in under four years; the round-by-round figures reported here for Series A through D sum to $557 million, consistent with that figure once currency conversion between the euro- and dollar-denominated announcements of the earlier rounds is taken into account.
