Overview
Peregrine Technologies is a San Francisco-based software company that builds an AI-driven data integration and decision-support platform for public safety, law enforcement and other government agencies. The company was founded in 2018 by Nick Noone, a former Palantir executive, and Ben Rudolph; the founders spent time embedded with the San Pablo Police Department in California building the real-time operations platform that became Peregrine's product. The platform connects an agency's existing data sources, such as records-management systems, computer-aided dispatch, body-worn camera footage, permit databases and sensor feeds, into a single searchable system without owning or centrally storing the underlying data itself, and lets customers build operational applications on top of it for uses including crime reduction, disaster response, fraud detection and event security. Peregrine raised a $30 million Series B in May 2024, a $190 million Series C led by Sequoia Capital in March 2025 at a $2.5 billion valuation, and a $250 million Series D in June 2026 at a $6.8 billion valuation, with Sequoia, Fifth Down Capital, OG Venture Partners, Goldcrest Capital, Godfrey Capital and XYZ Ventures among its backers. As of the Series D announcement the company had more than 450 employees across offices in San Francisco, Washington D.C., New York City, Toronto and London, and said it supported more than 400 government agencies and organizations serving over 125 million people across North America, including a public-safety coordination role across several host cities for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
