Overview

PhysicsX is a London-based startup building an AI-native engineering software platform that embeds physics AI and simulation directly into product-development workflows for heavy industry. The company emerged from stealth in November 2023 with $32 million in seed/Series A funding, after having quietly built out a team of scientists and engineers.

The company's platform is aimed at compressing engineering development cycles in complex industrial sectors — including aerospace and defense, automotive, semiconductors, materials, and energy — by letting engineers explore far more design variations than traditional physics simulation allows, using AI models trained to approximate high-fidelity simulation results dramatically faster.

PhysicsX was co-founded by Jacomo Corbo, who previously founded and led QuantumBlack (McKinsey's AI lab) and worked as a race strategist in Formula One, and Robin Tuluie, a theoretical physicist who headed R&D at Renault's Formula One team and was chief scientist at Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1. Corbo serves as CEO; Tuluie is Founder and Chairman.
