Overview

Games24x7 is a Mumbai-based Indian gaming company founded in 2006 by Bhavin Pandya and Trivikraman Thampy, who met studying economics at NYU. The company describes its approach as the 'science of gaming,' applying data science and behavioral research to game design and player engagement.

Its flagship products include RummyCircle, an online real-money rummy platform launched in 2009, and My11Circle, a fantasy sports platform covering cricket, football and kabaddi launched in 2019 that became an official IPL fantasy sports partner. The company also operates casual and free-to-play titles such as Ultimate Teen Patti, Ultimate Rummy and Wowzy, a Ludo variant, alongside its U Games casual-games label. Games24x7 has said its platforms have drawn more than 120 million users and billions of games played.

The company's core real-money gaming business was upended in August 2025 when India's Parliament passed the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, which prohibits online games of chance involving betting or wagering with real money while still permitting certain skill-based formats under a licensing regime. Following the law's passage, Games24x7 initiated layoffs affecting approximately 500 staff, and the legislation has since faced legal challenges that were transferred to India's Supreme Court.
