Overview
THG Ingenuity is a UK-based enterprise ecommerce and fulfilment technology platform, organised into three divisions: THG Commerce (a cloud-native, AI-powered digital commerce platform), THG Fulfil (a fulfilment operating system combining warehouse software with Robotics-as-a-Service) and THG Studios (creative content production and marketing services).
It became an independent private company on 2 January 2025, when its former parent, London-listed THG plc (owner of MyProtein, LookFantastic and Cult Beauty), completed a demerger that separated the technology and logistics business from THG's remaining Beauty and Nutrition consumer brands. Alongside the demerger, THG Ingenuity raised an oversubscribed £95.4 million equity placing at a valuation of up to £100 million, with participation from Frasers Group, THG founder and CEO Matthew Moulding, and other existing shareholders, to fund it toward standalone positive cash generation.
In its first full year as a standalone company (FY2025), THG Ingenuity reported revenue of $912 million, up 17% year-on-year, and EBITDA of roughly $58 million, up 42%, while cutting headcount from about 3,350 to roughly 2,900 through automation and AI adoption.
In October 2025, Google agreed to invest in THG Ingenuity through a convertible instrument alongside a strategic Google Cloud partnership — covering AI-enabled commerce products built on Vertex AI and Gemini and a migration of THG Ingenuity's infrastructure to Google Cloud — in a deal reported to value the company at roughly $1 billion (£750 million or more). The platform serves brands including Coca-Cola, Kraft Heinz, Mondelēz, PlayStation, Holland & Barrett, Disney, L'Oréal, Microsoft, P&G and MyProtein across 195 markets, using more than 1,500 deployed warehouse robots.
In September 2026, THG Ingenuity announced a leadership transition: co-founder John Gallemore, who had led the business as Executive President since the demerger, will move into the role of Chairman in December 2026, handing the chief executive role to incoming CEO Gemma Spence, while outgoing chairman Alistair Crane moves into a strategic consultant role.
