Overview
Uniphore is an enterprise artificial intelligence company founded in 2008 by Umesh Sachdev and Ravi Saraogi, who developed the company's early speech-recognition technology while incubated at IIT Madras with an initial grant from India's National Research Development Corporation. The company is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, with additional offices in the UK, Spain, Israel, the UAE, and India.
The company describes itself as "The Business AI Company," building enterprise AI software aimed at moving organizations from AI experimentation to production-grade outcomes. Its core offering, the Uniphore Business AI Cloud, is a platform combining an agentic layer for multi-agent orchestration, a knowledge layer built on domain-specific small language models, a model layer for AI governance and security, and a data layer for enterprise data transformation. Uniphore also offers a Business AI Suite of prebuilt agents for customer service, sales, marketing, and HR functions, and has more recently launched a Marketing AI product.
Uniphore reports serving more than 2,000 businesses across 20-plus countries, including more than 60 Fortune 500 companies running its software in production, with customers named on its site including KPMG, Cognizant, Farmers Insurance, AT&T, Sony, Allstate, and DocuSign. The company has grown in part through acquisitions, including Emotion Research Lab and Jacada in 2021, Red Box and Hexagone in 2023, ActionIQ and Infoworks in December 2024, and Orby AI in 2025.
Private securities are speculative, illiquid, and involve risk of complete loss of principal. You should be prepared to hold private securities for an extended period; there is no assurance of a secondary market, an IPO, or other liquidity event. You are fully responsible for conducting your own due diligence. Pricing is indicative — nothing here is an offer of securities.
