Overview

Verily Health Inc. (formerly Verily Life Sciences LLC) is a Dallas-based precision health company that grew out of Google X's life sciences division, becoming an independent Alphabet subsidiary in 2015. The company builds data and AI infrastructure for healthcare -- including its Syntax data model and an AI-agent platform -- aimed at helping life sciences companies, health systems, and payers turn clinical and research data into usable insights.

Verily relocated its headquarters from South San Francisco, California to Dallas in 2024, consolidating operations at its existing Cypress Waters campus in North Texas. In March 2026, Verily converted from an Alphabet-owned LLC into a standalone corporation -- renamed Verily Health Inc. -- and raised $300 million in a round led by new investor Series X Capital, with continued participation from Alphabet, UCHealth, and the University of Colorado Anschutz; as part of the deal Alphabet became a minority investor rather than Verily's controlling parent for the first time since the company's founding.

Verily has raised outside capital in several large rounds since 2019, including a $1 billion round led by Silver Lake in January 2019 and another $1 billion round led by Alphabet in September 2022. As of September 2026, Verily remains a privately held company with no public listing.
