Overview
VistaJet is a private business aviation company founded in 2004 by Thomas Flohr, who continues to serve as its founder and chairman. The company pioneered a subscription-style access model for private flying, letting members pay for hours flown on a global fleet rather than owning or fractionally owning an aircraft themselves.
Headquartered in Malta and operating under a Maltese Air Operator Certificate, VistaJet has built a global network with offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and Dubai. Its fleet, made up primarily of Bombardier Global and Challenger jets alongside other Bombardier, Gulfstream, Cessna, Embraer, and Dassault models, had grown to more than 360 aircraft by January 2023, flying members to airports across the large majority of the world's countries.
In 2018, Flohr launched Vista Global Holding Limited as the parent company sitting above VistaJet, subsequently rolling up several other private aviation operators under the group, including XOJET, JetSmarter, Red Wing Aviation, Apollo Jet, Talon Air, Air Hamburg, and Jet Edge, with XOJET and JetSmarter combined into an on-demand brand called XO.
