Overview

Xsight Labs is a fabless semiconductor company, founded in 2017 and headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, that designs programmable networking silicon for hyperscale, edge, and AI data centers. Its two core product lines are the X-Series of programmable Ethernet switches — including the X2, a 12.8 Tbps switch built to run under roughly 200 watts — and the E-Series of Data Processing Units (DPUs), led by the E1, an 800G, fully software-defined DPU built around 64 Arm Neoverse N2 cores. The company also maintains XISA, an open instruction-set architecture for switch-level programmability, and positions its products as open alternatives (built on standards such as P4, SONiC, Linux, and DPDK) to closed, legacy networking silicon architectures.

In addition to its Tel Aviv headquarters, Xsight Labs has said it operates sites in Kiryat Gat and Haifa, Israel; Boston, Raleigh, and San Jose in the United States; and an office in Yerevan, Armenia. The company has disclosed customer and design-partner relationships including SpaceX, which selected the X2 switch as networking silicon for its Starlink V3 satellites; Hammerspace, which uses the E1 DPU in AI storage infrastructure; and networking-hardware partners such as Edgecore Networks and Netberg that build systems around Xsight's silicon.

On July 30, 2026, Xsight Labs announced it had raised more than $300 million in a growth financing round at a $2.8 billion post-money valuation, led by Fidelity Management & Research Company with participation from a mix of new and existing investors. The company said the capital would be used to accelerate its multi-generational switch and DPU roadmap — including support for emerging Ultra Ethernet Consortium standards — expand engineering and customer-support teams across the US, Israel, Europe, and Asia, and scale manufacturing, supply chain, and delivery operations. Earlier funding history is not fully disclosed in retrievable sources; a September 2022 Calcalist report on staff reductions at the company indicates it had already raised capital and built out operations well before the 2026 round, but no dollar figures for any pre-2026 round could be independently verified this session.
