Overview

Shenzhen Yinwang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (深圳引望智能技术有限公司), known as Yinwang, is a Huawei-controlled automotive technology subsidiary spun out of Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solution (IAS) business unit in January 2024. Yinwang develops and supplies smart-driving systems, intelligent cockpit software (HarmonyOS-based "Harmony Space"), autonomous-driving stacks (Huawei ADS), vehicle control/chassis systems, and automotive lighting to Chinese and global automakers under several collaboration models, ranging from full-stack "HIMA" partnerships (e.g. AITO/Seres) to component-only supply deals. Huawei carved the unit out as a separate company specifically so it could bring in outside automaker capital without Huawei itself taking direct equity stakes in car brands, a structure meant to reassure automaker partners wary of depending too closely on Huawei. Within seven months of its founding, Yinwang's valuation reached roughly RMB 115 billion (~$16 billion) after Avatr Technology and Seres Group each purchased 10% stakes for RMB 11.5 billion apiece; Changan Automobile has also been reported as pursuing a stake. The company partners with over 20 automakers, including AITO, Avatr, Deepal, Voyah, M-Hero, Audi, Toyota, Nissan, GAC and Dongfeng, and its driver-assistance systems had reached roughly 1.4 million cumulative vehicle installations as of early 2026 reporting.
